This vintage Japanese hanten is a traditional padded jacket, typically worn during colder months. Made of indigo-dyed cotton with a soft burgundy lining, it features a kasuri-style hexagonal katazome pattern with radiating floral motifs, suggestive of late Shōwa to early Heisei-era domestic wear. The collar and inner ties are reinforced with black trim for added durability.
