Red Tailed Hawk Wood Carving

This red-tailed eagle is hand-carved from oriental red cedar. I call it "Witch's Eagle". Near a hiking trail near my sister's house, my niece pointed out a house they swear is haunted, where a witch lives. As we got closer, the only thing I noticed about the house was some red cedar logs that had just been chopped down from the street! Taking a closer look, who else should come here besides the witch... In fact, she is a very nice old lady who kindly gave me a few logs. This engraving reminds me to judge less and always look for potential in everything.

At 7 ¾ inches tall and 3 ¼ inches in diameter, this red-tailed eagle looks impressive sitting on a table or looking down from a shelf.
