The Pest Wizard Deciduous Fruit Fly Trap Kit provides an effective, chemical-free method for monitoring and reducing populations of fruit flies in home orchards and small farm settings. Designed for organic and sustainable growers, this kit helps prevent infestations of key pests such as Walnut Husk Maggots, Cherry Worms, Blueberry Maggots, and Apple Maggots.

Walnut Husk Fly larvae cause dark black staining on walnut shells, impacting nut quality. Cherry Fruit Fly larvae burrow into cherries, destroying the fruit from within. Early detection using this trap system allows gardeners to take timely action before these pests damage valuable crops. Each kit contains:

• Two 5" x 9" double-sided yellow sticky boards
• Two 90-day lures which slowly release an attracting scent
• Four wire hangers

To use, hang traps in the upper tree canopy before adult flies emerge. Positioning them early in the season maximizes effectiveness. Check and replace traps as needed during the growing season to maintain control.
