Peerless-AV Plenum Box for CMJ500, 455, 453 & 450 (White)

The Peerless-AV PB-1 is a plenum box designed to give ceiling-mounted displays and projectors a neat, code-compliant space for cabling and junction points above a drop ceiling. Installers working with Peerless-AV mounts such as the CMJ500, 455, 453, or 450 can place the box directly over a standard ceiling plate, then route power and signal cables without leaving anything exposed.

Its slide-on lid makes the first stage of installation quick, so most of the time goes into aiming the projector rather than assembling hardware. Once the lid is in place, an optional lockdown screw secures the cover and keeps curious hands out. Up to 3 inches of lateral adjustment let you nudge the box until the mount lines up perfectly with the screen.

The enclosure is built from heavy gauge cold rolled steel, so it holds up to daily vibration and routine maintenance. A white epoxy finish that resists scratches blends in with ceiling tile and keeps the installation looking professional for years. Multiple conduit knockouts—sized for 0.5, 0.75, and 1 inch runs—give electricians the freedom to enter from any side, and internal knockouts accept extra mounting brackets when more gear needs to live inside the box.
