Minwax presents Color Wash from the Design Series, a water-based, transparent layering stain that adds a touch of age and character to bare and already-stained wood. The Miniwax wood stain color is of barn wood. Layer the Miniwax stain colors over any oil or water-based stain for extra depth and interest. One container of Miniwax stain can cover an area of 100 sq ft. Use synthetic foam, foam brush, or rag to brush or wipe on the furniture. Ensure even brush strokes in the direction of the wood grain. Leave at least 1 hour before recoating. Minwax wood stain layering is ideal for small projects, furniture, cabinets, doors, and trim.
